A 4 years old singer

Kenan was born into an artistic family , he's the son of teacher parents and two engineer and musician brothers.

He began to pursue his talent in singing and acting at an early age and enjoyed magnificent mainstream success since then..

Promising Actor

Kenan made his first stage appearance in school plays at age of ten.

For the next five years He has toured major Syrian cities performing and singing in Tala'e and RYU (two national young children and scout organizations ) festivals and competitions leading many minstrel troupes and choral bands , This kind of live shows and concert tours in which he portrayed different and difficult characters revealed his acting prowess and writing skills that caught the attention of both viewers and media as well.

By the age of 16 ,He had accomplished what most young actors of his generation dream for a lifetime of achieving .

Subsequently; He has played diverse roles when he teamed up with Hakaya band in 2002 and received numerous rewards and accolades throughout his short acting career .

Also he appeared in a number of TV bit roles ,the most notably one was a hardy role handling woman liberation affair , cast as a teenager trying to molest a passer-by girl in public .

Kenan is fond of all medias of entertainment , he likes performing,writing ,directing ,show costume- designing , styling on photo and video shoots ..and in his spare time he enjoys acting and singing with gifted kids of all ages and teaching classes in drama and music for junior students of local musical theatre bands.

HIDA

In 2003 Kenan attended High Institute of dramatic arts along with many brilliantly talented individuals ,and he co-wrote most of the testing works he starred in .

Also he had worked in many collaborative projects with other young stage and television actors ,the last works include ‘The Bus’ improvised work on stereotyped characters supervised by Samir Othman and Mazen Mona (2004), and ‘The actor power’ a significant art workshop supervised by actor Jihad Saad (2004) and ‘elocution ’ workshop in collaboration with French Cultural Centre (2005) supervised by John Damian and ‘Promising Voices ’  theatre readings in collaboration with  the British Council , Ministry of Culture, HIDA (High Institute of Dramatic Arts) supervised by  Scottish  playwright David Grieg and the Royal Court Theatre in Britain  ( March 2006). And he's aiming to more prominent roles to play in the coming future.

Kenan had teached theatrics methods by using animal as a key to build the theatrics personality in Ornina Institute for theatrics special arts ( Jaramana -Damascus june 2006).

In 2006 he had appeared in historical TV series "Olama'a Ala Jabeen Alshams" directed by samir Housien produced by Action Production company.

He has gained the first place of student qualifacation after graduating show( named Crimson Island) for the first trimester 4th year Hida institute under the patronage of Dr. Riad Naasan Agga the Syrian minister of culture (3 -10 /1 /2007 ) ,this show which was performed in Alhasaka Youth Art Festival Days (Alqameshlee culture center 26/4-5/5/2007) was directed by Dr. Ajaj Saleem the head of directorate of theatres and Music.music composing by Raad Khalaf , lights by Maher Harbash, chirograph by Bon Joe, dramaturge by Anna Akkash , director assistant Leoa Yazajee.

 This show was repeated in the opening ceremony of Comic theatre Festival under the patronage of directorate of Theatres and Music and Qabbani Gathering for theatre and music arts( Latakia 23-31/3 /2007) at Dar Alasad Theatre for Art and Culture .

He was distinguished for his playing the "Kaloniki "theatrical role which represented the playful woman in "Women Parliament" play , the last graduation project show for actors section students in HIDA ,scripted and directed by Ramzi Shqeer ( quoted from Aristovaness Comedies) dramaturged by Bilal Shhadat , music composed by Mohammad Ala Rashi , lighted by Maher Arbash . and it was performed at the Alhamraa theater stage (Damascus June 2007) and now it's performing within Damascus Capital of Arab Culture 2008 activities ( next April ) and it will be performed in France (Paris 15-30 /6 / 2008).

Kenan also had played the main role in critic theatre play "Souer" quoted from "Three Stories" by Ozoaldo Dragon , this play was directed by Hazem Zidan and scripted by Aiman Zidan , cincograph by Zakaria Altayan , chirograph by Samer Alqurdi , music composed by Music High Institute students , the play was also performed in the Round theatre ( Fawaz Alsajer ) HIDA - july 2007.

Kenan has gained the first place in the Japanesse Noo theatre workshop with professor Nahika Omi Waka within the Kertage Theatre Days Festival (Tunis 27/11- 11/12 /2007).

Recently he had attended a theatrical and film workshop with cooperatin with juveniles rehabilitation instute students supervised by Italian N.G.O (Humanitarian Sector Movimond Implementing Organization ) with Patrizia Giffoni ( senior psychologist Movimond representative ) and Luca Travagning (Project coordinator) and Marry Ellias ( project leader) Omar abo Saada (project theatrical direction and supervision) So'dod Ka'dan ( cinema documentation) Mohammad Attar ( project dramaturge) , this project main story which was donated by British embassy , Dutch embassy ,Swiss agency for cooperation) was about child rights CRC peer education approach , and it will be performed as a theatrical show at Alqabani theatre stage next April .

Kenan is preparing for playing a main role in “Sand Rhythms” within the National theatre show blueprint ,part of Syrian directorate of theatres and Music  , scripted and directed by Salman Saimo’a , Dramaturge by Almohannad Haider. Alhamra theatre Stage (Damascus 4-10/5/2008)
